Dear members and friends of the Change for Good community,
I am writing to inform that I will be stepping down from my role as CEO of Change for Good at the end of January and will be moving on to a new role within the charity sector.
I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved together. During my tenure, we have expanded our community from a single project within HMP Wandsworth to a pan-London organisation working across 5 prisons and covering every borough of London. During this growth and development, the experience and support of prison leavers has remained the absolute focus of our efforts, without distraction. I am especially proud of all the contributors that make Change for Good what it is, a very special community that has helped hundreds of men out of cells, off the streets and to establish themselves after prison.
I am immensely grateful for the support I have received from the board, our staff, volunteers, members, partners, and donors. Your unwavering commitment to our mission has been a constant source of inspiration, and it has been a privilege to work alongside each and everyone of you. Our volunteers and members have been at the heart of our efforts, and their dedication and resilience have been instrumental in driving our success.
The board of trustees has commenced the process of identifying my successor, and we are committed to ensuring a smooth transition. I will work closely with the board over the coming months to support this process and to ensure that Change for Good continues to move forward without interruption.
Thank you once again for your trust, support, and dedication. Together, we have built a strong foundation, and I am confident that the best is yet to come for Change for Good.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Joshua Brettell
CEO,
