Change For Good is a mentoring and befriending project for men leaving Wandsworth Prison. For men to turn their lives around they need two things, the desire to change and the support to do it. We provide that support, our ethos is that we don't give up on people and people shouldn't give up on themselves. Change for Good was founded by the re-settlement chaplain at Wandsworth prison in 2012. We provide through the gate mentoring, enabling men to re-settle in the community and ultimately stay out of prison for good.

The work that we do is based on an authentic relationship. We currently have 25 volunteers, and employ a Project Manager and a Project Worker. Change For Good provides signposting, referrals and ongoing support. We support the men to address their pathways out of prison which include: housing, education, training and employment, and addiction issues. We are a faith-based charity and we work with people from all faiths and from none. We work as part of a network of community chaplaincies, our core values are: honesty, genuineness, persistence and care.

Change For Good is a member of the Community Chaplaincy Association and works in close partnership with the multi-faith Chaplaincy department at HMP Wandsworth. Click on the logo to visit the Community Chaplaincy Association website.
